French sports minister Amelie Oudea-Castera bravely dunks herself in the Seine in a desperate attempt to allay fears about pollution levels in the famous river ahead of Paris Olympics

As things stand, two Olympic events this summer - the triathlon and open water swimming - are set to take place in the Seine. The river will also feature during the opening ceremony.
