This show, produced by the NYRA, features live coverage of horse racing from venues all over the country. Many of the broadcasts of America’s Day at the Races feature racing action from Belmont Park, a famed thoroughbred racetrack in Elmont, New York that is best known for hosting the Belmont Stakes, part of the Triple Crown along with the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes. The track opened in 1905 and hosts racing from April through July.
The program has also featured racing from Monmouth Park since May, expanding the amount of horse races that viewers can tune in for.
