For the first time in franchise history, the Florida Panthers are Stanley Cup champions!
After suffering through three straight losses to be forced into a Game 7, the Panthers were able to pull out a 2-1 victory on Monday against the Edmonton Oilers to win the Stanley Cup. The game started with two quick goals — one from each side — then settled into a tense back-and-forth game before Sam Reinhart scored the game winner in the second period.
