Brewers LHP Robert Gasser set for Tommy John surgery

Milwaukee Brewers left-hander Robert Gasser will undergo Tommy John surgery on Monday, becoming the team's third injured starter to miss the rest of the 2024 season.

The ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction surgery will be performed by Dr. Keith Meister in Dallas with a recovery time of about a year, MLB.com reported.
