Pirates promote RHP Daulton Jefferies from Triple-A

The Pittsburgh Pirates recalled right-hander Daulton Jefferies from Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday.

Pittsburgh optioned left-hander Justin Bruihl to Indianapolis to open up a roster spot.

Jefferies, 28, was obtained from the San Francisco Giants on May 10. He was recalled for a May 29 doubleheader at the Detroit Tigers but didn't make an appearance.

Jefferies was 0-2 with a
