Athletics place RHP Lucas Erceg (forearm) on 15-day IL

The Oakland Athletics placed right-hander Lucas Erceg on the 15-day injured list on Friday due to a strained right forearm.

The move is retroactive to Sunday. Erceg last pitched on May 25, throwing a perfect inning of relief in the Athletics' 3-1 home victory over the Houston Astros.
