12 celebrities at the 2024 Indy 500 red carpet, including Jordin Sparks and Flavor Flav
The Indianapolis 500 is usually a star-studded event, and that goes beyond the celebrities who are involved in the pre-race festivities.
MLB superstar Ken Griffey Jr. will drive the pace car as drivers warm up, and actors Austin Butler and Jodie Comer, stars of the new movie, The Bikeriders, will serve as the honorary starters of Sunday’s 108th Indy 500, waving the green flag to officially start the race.

But several other celebrities and athletes showed up for one of the biggest motorsports events in the world, including national anthem singer Jordin Sparks, Flavor Flav and Tamika Catchings.
