May 25: Rainstorms, rains already in parts of Ghana; flash floods imminent — GMet

The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has warned that ongoing rainstorms have engulfed parts of eastern Ghana and are expected to spread westwards, posing risks of flash flooding in many areas. In its morning forecast issued at 5am, GMet 39;s Central Analysis and Forecasting Office said the rainstorm was currently producing thunderstorms with rains of varying intensities in the eastern flank of the country.
