Reports: Hurricanes, Rod Brind'Amour agree on contract extension

Carolina Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour agreed to a five-year contract extension with the team, The Athletic reported.

Per multiple reports, the assistant coaches under Brind'Amour also received contract extensions.

The coach's contract was due to expire July 1.
