Uruguay's Rodriguez on River Plate radar

BUENOS AIRES, May 6 (Xinhua) -- River Plate could sign highly rated Uruguayan forward Luciano Rodriguez, his agent said on Monday.

Rodriguez is contracted to Liverpool Montevideo until December 2027 but the Uruguayan club is understood to be open to offers for the 20-year-old.

"River's interest is real. We're going to meet with the club's board and see what can be done," player agent Mauricio Machado told
