Mystik Dan's nail-biting finish to win the 2024 Kentucky Derby had fans stunned
It’s hard to quantify exactly how close Saturday’s Kentucky Derby was, quite literally by a horse’s nose.
Mystik Dan and jockey Brian Hernandez Jr. finished right ahead of the field (just barely) to win the 150th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville, providing fans with one of the closest finishes in the derby’s illustrious history.
If you love horse racing, this race was about as good as it gets. Mystik Dan coming around the bend on the final stretch of the track to edge the rest of horses in the race by just a couple of inches was just thrilling.
It’s a finish that you can replay over and over again just to feel the adrenaline of the moment.
As you can expect, fans couldn’t believe what a fantastic finish we got to this year’s Kentucky Derby.
