UFC 301 pre-event facts: Jose Aldo still holds records after retirement layoff
The UFC turns the page to its May schedule on Saturday with UFC 301, which takes place at Rio Arena in Rio de Janeiro.
A flyweight championship fight will headline the promotion’s 40th all-time event in Brazil. Reigning champion Alexandre Pantoja (27-5 MMA, 11-3 UFC) will attempt a second consecutive title defense when he takes on surging contender Steve Erceg (12-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC).
