Cardinals-Tigers series opener postponed till Tuesday

Monday's opener of a three-game series between the St. Louis Cardinals and host Detroit Tigers was postponed due to inclement weather in the forecast.

The teams will take the field for a straight doubleheader Tuesday at 3:40 p.m. Game 2 will begin approximately 40 minutes after Game 1's conclusion.
