Where will Stephon Castle go in the 2024 NBA Draft? Here is what the experts predict.
UConn freshman Stephon Castle had a breakout performance against Alabama during the Final Four, which should help his draft stock.
Castle scored a team-high 21 points (7-of-13 FG) during the huge victory while adding five rebounds, two assists, and one steal. He also connected on multiple 3-pointers.
UConn has outscored opponents by 89 points with Castle on the court during the tournament, per CBB Analytics, which is by far the most any freshman in March Madness.

Bleacher Report: No. 7 overall (Memphis Grizzlies)
No Ceilings: No. 7 overall (San Antonio Spurs)

Draft Digest: No. 9 overall (Utah Jazz)
USA TODAY: No. 10 overall (Atlanta Hawks)
ESPN: No. 14 overall (Los Angeles Lakers)
SB Nation: No. 15 overall (Philadelphia 76ers)
Although the NBA Draft is still a few months away, it appears that experts feel the Utah Jazz are an overwhelming favorite to land Castle.
Several mock drafts predict that the freshman could land in Utah and the fit makes sense. The Jazz currently have the worst defense in the league and it seems that Castle projects as one of the best perimeter defenders in the class.
His range currently begins as high as No. 2 overall and he is unlikely to fall out of the lottery, based on these expert predictions.
