Jake Paul fumes ‘we live in a f***ed up world’ over shock claims about Mike Tyson fight
JAKE PAUL has fumed at online theories that his fight with Mike Tyson has a series of bonkers rules.
Earlier this month it was announced that the Problem Child would be facing Iron Mike at the 80,000-seater AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20.
Jake Paul has been left bemused by recent online claims[/caption] Paul, 27, is set to face Mike Tyson, 30 years his senior, this summer[/caption]The fight will see Paul, 27, face Tyson, 57, and will be broadcast live on Netflix.
It is so far unclear whether it will be a professional or exhibition bout.
But Paul has been quick to belittle online rumours about the rules of the fight.
It was claimed on TikTok that a number of quirky additions would be made to help the YouTuber out.
One mooted stipulation was that Paul would be allowed to wear a head guard while Tyson went without.
While another claimed that he’d be able to tag-team his WWE star brother Logan in.
Appearing on the Betr podcast, Paul could hardly hide his exasperation at the claims.
He said: “It’s so sad that millions of people believe that. It’s f***ing absurd. Obviously, none of that is true.

“They’re so f***ing stupid. Anyone who believes that should not be allowed to vote.
“Actually, I thought of this – there should be these hidden tests throughout life that qualify you to be able to vote or not.
“And they don’t know whether they’re taking a test or not.
“The fact that these people are not only driving around on our streets but they’re able to vote? They’re out there driving cars! They’re dumb as f*** and it’s sad.
“We live in a f***ed up world. Humans are getting more and more stupid every day. It’s crazy.”
Paul extended his professional boxing record to 9-1 in February when he beat Ryan Bourland in Puerto Rico.
While former heavyweight king Tyson has not fought professionally since losing to Kevin McBride in 2005.
But he did face Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition in November 2020.
Current WBC heavyweight champ Tyson Fury is a fan of the controversial match-up between Paul and Tyson.
He told The Stomping Ground: “I think it’s fantastic for boxing.
“You’ve got a legend in Mike Tyson. You’ve got a YouTube boxer who’s come into the game and blew it up and he’s got millions of followers and millions of views and millions of eyes.
“Good, bad or indifferent. Some people love him, some people hate him.
“So, I think it’s a really good spectacle for boxing. Brings a lot of people to the game.
“And listen, who am I to say, ‘Oh, Mike Tyson shouldn’t be boxing or Jake Paul shouldn’t be boxing’, good luck to them.
“They’re both gonna make what I call a s*** ton of money out of it. So, isn’t that what it’s about?”
