‘You shall be hanged by the neck till you die’ — Court tells man found guilty of killing wife’s ‘boyfriend’

Ayodeji Alomoge,28, has been convicted of murder and sentenced to death by hanging for fatally attacking his wife 39;s alleged boyfriend in a fit of jealousy. On Thursday, Justice Jubril Aladejana of the Ado Ekiti High Court in Nigeria handed down the capital punishment verdict after finding Alomoge guilty of killing Ayomide Ogunleye in June 2022.
