UFC 299 post-event facts: Dustin Poirier climbs several key all-time lists

UFC 299 was the biggest event of the year so far, and the fights at Kaseya Center in Miami largely delivered.

In the main event, bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley (18-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) registered the first defense of his title reign and avenged his lone career loss when he beat Marlon Vera (21-9-1 MMA, 15-8 UFC) by lopsided unanimous decision.
