Pro Football Hall of Famer Was Captivated by QB’s Good Looks at NFL Combine
Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartman has proven his on-field bonafides, throwing 134 touchdowns over six seasons with Wake Forest and the Fighting Irish—third in college football history.
However, Hall of Fame wide receiver Cris Carter believes Hartman can add an off-the-field element to whichever NFL team drafts him next month: His good looks.
Carter heaped praise on Hartman’s appearance in a video clip posted to the NFL’s social media account Wednesday afternoon.
“He’s definitely the best looking guy at the damn combine,” Carter said. “I sent my wife a picture of him. She’s like, ‘I thought you were working.’ I said. ‘Well, (here’s) a male model.’ Look at that dude, man. Look at him.… That’s not a commercial?”

Hartman, 24, was one of the handful of quarterbacks to actually work out at the combine; several only came for medical exams and team meetings.
To disabuse Carter of Hartman’s aura, perhaps they ought to tell the wide receiver what the quarterback wears around his neck.
