Nets name Kevin Ollie as interim head coach

The Brooklyn Nets named Kevin Ollie as interim head coach on Tuesday, one day after firing Jacque Vaughn.

Ollie, 51, joined Vaughn's staff as an assistant coach prior to the start of this season.

He was the head coach for six seasons (2012-18) at his alma mater, UConn, and led the Huskies to the 2014 NCAA Tournament championship. He had a 127-79 record in his UConn tenure.
