5 killed in roadside blast in Somalia: police

MOGADISHU, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Somali police confirmed Tuesday that five people were killed and 10 others wounded in a roadside blast in the national capital of Mogadishu Monday night.

"The landmine was planted along the road in Heliwa District, targeting passengers of a minibus and a motorcycle taxi," the police said in a statement, blaming al-Shabab for the latest attack in the capital.
