Orioles acquire LHP Matt Krook from Yankees for cash

The New York Yankees traded left-hander Matt Krook to the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday for cash considerations.

The Yankees designated Krook for assignment on Tuesday in order to claim infielder Jordan Groshans off waivers from Miami.

Krook, 29, made his major league debut for New York in June 2023 and allowed 11 earned runs, eight hits and six walks with three strikeouts in
