Mariners claim former prospect Levi Stoudt off waivers

The Seattle Mariners claimed right-handed pitcher Levi Stoudt off waivers from the Cincinnati Reds, reuniting them with their 2019 third-round draft pick.

In a corresponding move, the team designated outfielder Canaan Smith-Njigba for assignment on Saturday.

Stoudt, 26, pitched three-plus seasons in the Mariners' organization before being traded July 30, 2022, as part of the d
