Trae Young drilled a shot from the NBA all-star stands after fans bet him $100
A few NBA fans attended the Saturday all-star festivities prepared to lose some money, because they actually bet a couple of the league’s best long-distance shooters $100 to make a long-distance shot.
Just before Trae Young was set to participate in the 3-point contest, a group of fans challenged him to make a shot from where they were sitting in the stands. Not only did Young accept, he drilled it, walking away with a crispy $100 bill.
Based on the fans’ commentary, they offered the same deal to the GOAT shooter Stephen Curry, who apparently missed.

This turned out to be a nice warm up for Young. He advanced to the final round of the 3-point contest and finished the competition as runner-up to champion Damian Lillard.
