Is Taylor Swift's plane on its way to the Super Bowl from Tokyo? Plane trackers think they've found it
It’s the question that everyone’s been asking for months: Will Taylor Swift travel from Tokyo — where her Eras Tour stop was the last four days — to Las Vegas to cheer on Travis Kelce at Super Bowl 58?
Reports have said she was going to do it, and the timing worked out so that she could leave Saturday night (in Japan) and arrive in the United States on Saturday night (let West Wing explain how that works).
So as of Saturday morning, was she flying?
The account that usually tracks her jet was shut down, but some folks on X (formerly Twitter) think they’ve found a plane marked as “The football era” (wink, wink) is on its way from Tokyo to LAX in Los Angeles, which means she could be driving from L.A. to Las Vegas. There are reports that her plane might not have a parking place in Vegas, so this makes sense.
So … we’ll see if this is the plane in question!
The logistics of flying #TaylorSwift across the planet to a football game is quite a production.
I’m told @vistajet didn’t just have mechanics at HND in case anything broke, it had a whole second jet there on standby. Basically a private Air Force One. https://t.co/60XVOX2P3R pic.twitter.com/QnYo5kYD2a
