Robert Milkins won last year’s event, beating Shaun Murphy 9-7 in the final as Ronnie O’Sullivan crashed out in the quarter-finals.

The Rocket appears set to appear at the tournament, with no official word that he won’t be playing.
The Essex star is scheduled to play Scot Liam Graham in a held-over pre-qualifying match on February 12 – the winner will then face Dominic Dale in the last 64.
O’Sullivan, 48, has been on a brilliant run of form, winning the UK Championship and Masters in recent weeks.
Judd Trump has withdrawn but big-name players such as world champion Luca Brecel, John Higgins, Mark Allen, Neil Robertson, Mark Williams and Mark Selby are all set to play.
