Super Bowl 2024 prop bets: The 5 most intriguing props from Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook release
On the Thursday of the week prior to the Super Bowl every year, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook releases its full menu of prop bets. It’s a Las Vegas tradition. The board goes dark, and on one panel at a time prop bets light up until a large portion of the wrap-around screen at the enormous sportsbook is filled with them.
This year, Westgate released its 500-plus props at 5 p.m. PT and included a variety of cross-sport props. In addition to the usual suspects (Patrick Mahomes passing yards, etc.), the SuperBook is known for its creativity with prop bets. Bettors line up at the counter and are allowed a $2,000 wager, before they have to go to the back of the line. A group of 15-20 bettors lined up at 5 p.m. and for the next 90 minutes or so, bet into the Super Bowl prop menu.
