Raiders to Hire Former NFL Coach As Offensive Coordinator, per Report
The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to hire former Arizona Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury as their new offensive coordinator, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Thursday night.
Kingsbury, who spent the last season working at USC as a senior offensive analyst, will join coach Antonio Pierce in Las Vegas for the 2024 NFL season.
Former Raiders offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi was fired in November following the firings of coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler on the same day. Pierce jumped into the interim head coach role at the time, and was officially hired into the job in January.

Kingsbury’s tenure in Arizona from 2019 to ’22 was his only coaching experience in the NFL. He was fired last January after the Cardinals went 4–13 during the season. He previously was the offensive coordinator for Texas A&M in 2012 and the co-offensive coordinator for Houston the two seasons before.
The Raiders finished the 2023 season with a 8–9 record. Pierce led the team to a 5–4 record after he took over as interim coach.
