NBA Fans Sound Off After LeBron James, Anthony Davis Ruled Out vs. Celtics
The Los Angeles Lakers ruled out stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis for their matchup against the Boston Celtics on Thursday.
James won’t play due to a left ankle injury, and Davis will sit out due to an Achilles issue and left hip spasms.
That doesn’t bode well for TNT’s national broadcast of the Boston-L.A. game, a matchup between two historic rivals initially billed to feature plenty of star power.
It marks the sixth game James will miss this season and the third this month. Davis only missed three games prior to Thursday’s clash.
The NBA world wasn’t too thrilled with this news:
Sooo...if you were thinking of settling in tonight to watch big stars duke it out in the Lakers-Celtics game, well, the Lakers have announced that neither LeBron (ankle) nor Anthony Davis (hip) will be playing.
