Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham received clearance to resume basketball activities and is scheduled to return from his left knee strain in 5-7 days, the team said Friday.

He is likely to return next week, either Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets or Saturday when the Pistons host the Washington Wizards.
