Bengals’ Joe Mixon Had Perfect Celebration After Scoring TD Worth $100K
Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon has been known to partake in creative touchdown celebrations every now and then. His most infamous one may have been a coin flip celly performed almost exactly one year ago, which at the time clapped back at the league’s amended AFC playoff procedures after Damar Hamlin’s medical emergency.
In Week 18 against the Cleveland Browns, Mixon chose a different kind of currency in his entertaining touchdown dance.
The Pro Bowler caught a red zone pass from Jake Browning in the first quarter and ran it in for his second score of the game and his 12th touchdown of the season.
That touchdown triggered a $350,000 season incentive for Mixon—hence why the back celebrated like it was raining money in the end zone.

Prior to his catch-and-run score, Mixon had already hit a $250,000 incentive by recording 10 touchdowns on the season. His 11th and 12th touchdowns on Sunday upped his incentives by $100,000, giving the 27-year-old back a nice payday in an otherwise meaningless game.
Mixon took a roughly $4 million pay cut this past summer and remains under contract through the 2024 season.
The Bengals took a 24–0 lead into halftime against the Browns with the help of Mixon’s two scores.
