Why Travis Kelce isn't playing in Sunday's Week 18 game between the Chiefs and Chargers
With both Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift in Los Angeles on Sunday, there was some speculation that the 12-time Grammy winner would be in attendance at SoFi Stadium before heading to the Golden Globes.
But with the Chiefs’ announcement about Kelce’s playing status, Swifties shouldn’t expect to see Swift in the building come Sunday.
Kelce has been ruled out for the regular season finale against the Chargers as head coach Andy Reid elected to rest the star tight end.

The Chiefs have already locked up their AFC West title and playoff seeding, so the team is opting to rest key starters like Patrick Mahomes (and Kelce) before next week’s wild-card matchup.
Kelce will end the regular season with 984 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
