Tottenham fans will hate where Eberechi Eze’s head is at after Arsenal talks

0

A new report has shed light on where Eberechi Eze stands on his future after Arsenal entered the race for the Tottenham target in recent days.

At the start of last week, some outlets reported that Eze had given the green light to join Tottenham this summer after the Lilywhites expressed an interest in his services.

However, over the weekend, Arsenal made efforts to hijack Tottenham’s move for Eze, and some reports indicate that the Gunners have made contact with the Crystal Palace star.

In fact, it has even been reported over recent days that Arsenal are ready to make an offer for Eze after cooling their interest in Real Madrid star Rodrygo.

Eberechi Eze is open to a move to Arsenal as Tottenham delay

It was suggested by GiveMeSport a couple of days ago that Tottenham may be under pressure to advance on Eze after Arsenal entered the race, and it turns out their prediction is coming to fruition.

Journalist Ben Jacobs has taken to social media to claim that Mikel Arteta’s men have been speaking with the England international over the last few days.

More importantly, he asserts that Eze is open to moving to the Emirates should the Gunners strike a deal with the Eagles for the 27-year-old.

He wrote: ‘Arsenal exploring a deal for Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze, as revealed last week. Talks with player camp took place over the last few days. Eze has a £68m release clause payable in instalments and is open to AFC should they proceed with a bid.’

Have Spurs turned their attention to Mohammed Kudus?

If reports over the last 24 hours are to be believed, Spurs may have turned their attention away from Eze and towards a West Ham star.

It has been claimed by The Telegraph Spurs are now more likely to sign Mohammed Kudus than Eze or Antonie Semenyo, with the Hammers attacker potentially set to become the first player to move from West Ham to Tottenham since Scott Parker in 2011.

It was subsequently claimed by Fabrizio Romano that Kudus is ready to consider a Tottenham after the Lilywhites reached out to the 24-year-old’s representatives.
