New reports have now revealed what everyone at Tottenham is already saying about Thomas Frank, after the manager’s first few days at Hotspur Way.
Tottenham Hotspur’s summer has been slow in terms of player transfers, as they have only completed the permanent signing of Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich following his loan spell during the winter window.
However, one could argue that, regardless of their inactivity in the summer market, Spurs have completed their biggest deal yet, 10 days ago, when they officially announced the arrival of new head coach Thomas Frank from Brentford.
The Dane, 51, arrived with four members of his backroom staff, and has now becomes the 16th managerial appointment of Daniel Levy, following the sacking of 15 other Tottenham coaches during his tenure.
Thomas Frank already impressing at Tottenham following move
Of course, Thomas Frank has started work and has since completed his first interview as head coach, where he highlighted his non-negotiables as Spurs boss and what he discussed with Daniel Levy and Vinai Venkatesham before making a switch to north London.
Frank has met with a few Tottenham players at Hotspur Way, including James Maddison and Radu Dragusin.
Tottenham journalist Alasdair Gold has now shared what he has been hearing from his Spurs sources about the new head coach Thomas Frank.
The journalist stated that everyone who has met with the Dane so far has been left highly impressed, describing him as a very detailed manager and a good character too.
He said, when speaking on the Gold and Guest Talk Tottenham Podcast: “From what I understand, everyone who has met him at Hotspur Way during his first few days there this week has been highly impressed.
“He has been everything they expected him to be so far, really good guy, a very detailed guy as well, I guess he is stepping into a huge organisation compared to what he has come from.”
Bryan Mbeumo backs Frank to thrive at Spurs
Of course, it does not entirely come as a surprise that Thomas Frank has received such praise from those within Tottenham Hotspur.
Former player and Spurs transfer target Bryan Mbeumo also recently revealed what Frank was like during his time at Brentford.
According to the 25-year-old, Frank knows everything – knows what he wants to bring to the team, and how he wants them to play.
Mbeumo also mentioned that the Tottenham head coach is a manager who knows how to manage people and a team.
He then backed his former manager to adapt to Champions League football and the expectations of managing a club like Tottenham.
