Tottenham fans have voted for their goal of the month for February, but it was not a first-team player that won the award, but rather a 17-year-old academy starlet, who produced an absolutely sensational strike that he will remember for a long time.
17-year-old Reiss Elliott-Parris is showcasing his quality in his first year with the club’s Under-18s, with the youngster showcasing his eye for goal regularly.
The youngster has managed six goals and three assists across 17 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League and the FA Youth Cup, with his performances even seeing him break into the club’s Under-21 set-up.
One of those goals was an extremely special strike that came at the start of last month, which the forward will remember for a long time.

Elliott-Parris netted what is arguably a contender for goal of the season in the Spurs Under-18s’ 5-3 win over Brighton & Hove Albion last month.
The strike came from near the halfway line at Brighton’s training ground, with the teenager spotting the goalkeeper off his line and managing to chip him from around 45 yards out despite losing his balance.
Tottenham Hotspur have revealed that the strike won the Goal of the Month award for February by a cantor after taking 48 per cent of the vote in a poll run across their website and official app.

Brilliant to see Elliott-Parris win the award
It is a great initiative by Tottenham to also include goals from the youth sides in the poll rather than just restricting the options to goals by the first-team players.
Elliott-Parris will be proud to have been voted for by millions of Spurs fans around the globe and there is no doubt that the 17-year-old is fully deserving of the award.
