Tottenham and Arsenal could play North London Derby overseas in 2025
Tottenham Hotspur are allegedly set to play a North London Derby during their summer Asia tour ahead of the start of the 2025-26 season. Here are all the details you need to know about the fixture:
Over the last decade and a half, Spurs had managed to build a decent record against their Old Enemy, particularly at home where they were unbeaten for a long time.
However, that has changed over recent years, with Mikel Arteta’s men winning at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the third season in a row this campaign and doing the double over the Lilywhites.
His record against Arsenal is something that Postecoglou will want to address, but he will not have to wait until next season to do that as the two North London sides will be playing one another in pre-season.

Tottenham to take on Arsenal in Hong Kong this summer
Journalist Charles Watts has now confirmed that the two clubs will play a pre-season friendly during their summer tour of Asia.
The two clubs are expected to play each other in the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, which has a capacity of 50,000 and boasts a retractable roof.
This is not the first time that Tottenham and Arsenal have played each other in pre-season, with the two sides also playing a friendly before the start of the 2021-22 season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

There is no such thing as a friendly North London Derby
Many Spurs fans will not like the idea of playing Arsenal in a friendly as no North London Derby should be considered ‘friendly’.
Playing this kind of game in pre-season diminishes the meaning of the derby, the importance of the occasion and the history associated with it.
