Emerson has come in for plenty of criticism from the Italian media for some of his defensive displays this season and things do not appear to be improving for the right-back.

It has now emerged that Milan have decided to move on the former Tottenham man, who is attracting interest from Premier League clubs.

Two English clubs interested in Emerson

This update comes from Relevo reporter Matteo Moretto, who says that the Serie A club are keen to offload Emerson before the February 3 deadline.

The Rossoneri have reportedly informed suitors that they are willing to listen to any kind of proposal for the defender over the next two weeks.

This stance has allegedly piqued the interest of Everton, who have now enquired about Emerson’s availability. The journalist adds that interest from Marco Silva’s Fulham is also ‘confirmed’.

However, in the latest twist, Emerson Royal could be out injured for the next two months after picking up a knock in the Champions League. One would assume this would dent any chances of a transfer.

A move to Turkey is on the cards for Emerson

Moretto explains that the Milan man is not only attracting interest from England but might also have the chance to move to Turkey.

This is because Galatasaray have already begun negotiations with the Italian giants over a deal for the 26-year-old. In fact, Moretto adds that new contacts between the parties are expected as the Istanbul side advance their interest in Emerson.
