Predicted Tottenham XI to face Leicester City

Goalkeeper – Antonin Kinsky: Kinsky’s ineligibility in the Europa League, meant that he did not start a game for Tottenham Hotspur for the first time since signing for the club. He is eligible to play in the league, so he should get back in goal.

Right-back – Pedro Porro: Porro looked really good going forward in the Europa League on Thursday and he showed glimpses of the full-back Spurs signed, with no help still, he should be the starting right-back.

Centre-back – Radu Dragusin: Dragusin has had a rough few weeks and he looks like he could use a break just to clear up his mind. Well, given the injury situation, he will be called on once again. However, there is good news as Romero is back in training now.

Centre-back – Ben Davies: Our Mr Reliable will be the second centre-back on Sunday – he has looked really sharp since his return from injury.

Left-back – Archie Gray: Gray should continue on the left on Sunday, as Ange Postecoglou revealed that Djed is carrying a bit of a knock. There is still a chance Spence could play, however, after the manager’s comments, we are tilting towards Archie.

Pivot midfielder – Lucas Bergvall: Sarr and Bissouma are still doubts for this one, so Bergvall should continue in the holding midfield role.

Central midfielder – James Maddison: Manager Ange Postecoglou has been asking more of his senior players and on Thursday, Maddison stepped up with a goal against Hoffenheim. He should keep his spot, that will make it three starts in the last three games.

Central midfielder – Rodrigo Bentancur: Bentancur returned to action on Thursday after his head injury in the north London derby. In the Europa League game, he looked really good and he dictated the tempo of the game pretty well. He should continue in the midfield on Thursday.

Right midfielder – Dejan Kulusevski: Kulusevski is a man in need of a rest, but with the injury crisis the club is dealing with, he cannot get one. Johnson is out, Kulusevski starts on the right.

Striker – Richarlison: There were talks of Richarlison being eased in, well that plan has gone down the drain as he is now the only fit senior striker in the team. He is set to start his second game in the space of four days.

Left midfielder – Heung-min Son: His brace against Hoffenheim took his goal contribution tally to 17 for the season, ten goals and seven assists. His record against Leicester City is also pretty solid, the hope here is that he continues his scoring run.
