Spurs fans were thrilled to see the 17-year-old live up to his billing, given the hype that has been around him for the past year.

Ange Postecoglou labelled the teenager’s performance as ‘outstanding’, claiming that he was not surprised by how the youngster handled the occasion (Football.London).

Forced himself into the starting eleven?

On the back of Moore’s display on Thursday, the Spurs academy graduate has certainly given Postecoglou a big selection headache before the Brighton game.

With Heung-min Son still out injured, the Tottenham head coach could be tempted to hand the youngster a start on the left over Timo Werner, particularly given the German’s struggles in front of goal.
