Postecoglou has been holding his Spurs press conference

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou was sat back in front of the press at the club’s Hotspur Way training ground on Friday morning.

It is a quick turnaround for the North Londoners following their 2-1 win over Ferencvaros on Thursday evening having

Tottenham were without club captain Heung-min Son once again on Thursday evening due to his hamstring issue.

The forward has now missed the victories over Manchester United and Ferencvaros, with Postecoglou opting for Timo Werner instead on the left-hand side of his front three.

Son is set to to miss Brighton match

Postecoglou has delivered a Tottenham injury update on his squad ahead of the trip to the south coast and confirmed the South Korean will likely miss the match.

There was good news however, with Destiny Udogie looking likely to be fit after the left-back had to come off at half-time in the 3-0 win over Manchester United last weekend.

Postecoglou told Football.London: “Fairly tired but physically no issues from last night’s game. Destiny we think will be okay, training today and tomorrow.

“Sonny is unlikely, he’s pushing hard but it is too soon.”
