Spurs could battle Man City and Newcastle to sign 20-year-old starlet

HITC reveal that Tottenham Hotspur are one of three clubs eyeing a potential move for Red Bull Salzburg starlet Samson Baidoo.

Who is Samson Baidoo?

Baidoo’s reputation has been growing steadily over the last 12 months, with the youngster now seen by many as the next potential star to hail from Salzburg.

It turns out that the 20-year-old’s displays for both club and country have now caught the attention of a number of top clubs, including Spurs.

HITC say that the North London club have sent scouts to watch the young defender in action recently but they are not the only ones to do so.

Spurs have competition for Baidoo

Manchester City and Newcastle are also following Baidoo’s progress, with the Premier League champions said to have been impressed by the defender’s development.

It is asserted that the ball-playing centre-half could make a big move sooner rather than later, with Barcelona, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund also named as the Austria international’s admirers.

It sounds like there could be a big fight for Baidoo’s signature in the January transfer window.
