Tom Brady will call Bears' Week 3 game, then presumably help coach against them in Week 4
Tom Brady finally confirmed what everyone assumed he's been doing anyway. During the broadcast of the Raiders-Chargers game Monday, ESPN's cameras showed Brady in the Raiders' coaching booth with a headset on.
Brady is a minority owner of the Raiders, which has raised questions and restrictions on his access to the other 31 teams as a Fox broadcaster because the TV crew usually gets special access to teams leading up to the game. Interestingly, Brady is on the call for the Bears' upcoming game against the Cowboys at Soldier Field, and the Bears visit the Raiders the following week.
The NFL posted on X a clip of the broadcast showing Brady in the coaching booth and wrote that Brady and Raiders offensive coordinator Chip Kelly "work closely together to help with the game plan" with a hands-clapping emoji, then deleted the post.

Brady's two jobs came up in relation to the Bears during the NFL playoffs last season, when he was broadcasting a Lions game while simultaneously trying to hire offensive coordinator Ben Johnson as Raiders head coach. The Bears moved quickly after that game to hire Johnson.
“Everybody in the National Football League — owners and personnel — is still subject to tampering rules,” commissioner Roger Goodell said in February. “Everyone is responsible for his conduct, and they’re held accountability.”
He added that Brady calls him to make sure he's in compliance because "he’s serious about making sure that he separates these two [jobs] and doesn’t put anyone in a potential position of conflict."
Brady has a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox.
The league allows Brady to attend Fox production meetings with coaches and key players, but only remotely due to him being part of the Raiders' organization.
