Man killed in Greater Grand Crossing hit-and-run

A 31-year-old was fatally struck by a car in Greater Grand Crossing early Sunday, Chicago police said.

Police found the man in the street around 3:20 a.m. in the 7600 block of South Stewart Avenue. He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.

No other details about the hit-and-run were released.
