Man fatally shot in Morgan Park

A man was shot and killed in Morgan Park early Saturday, police said.

The man, 28, was found with gunshot wounds to the body around 4:45 a.m. in the 11600 block of South Church Street, according to Chicago police.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center initially in serious condition. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

No one is in custody, and detectives are investigating.
