SUV plows into Austin CTA Green Line station

Police are looking for the driver of an SUV that took down a light pole and a traffic signal before ramming into a CTA station in Austin.

Officers responded to the crash around 2:10 a.m. in the 4700 block of West Lake Street and found a white SUV struck the wall and caused damage, Chicago police said.

A traffic signal was downed and a light pole damaged nearby, but no driver or passengers were found, police said.

No one was in custody.
