The Weekend Spectator Ep. 11: Kamala and ABC Gaslight America
From the uneven fact-checks that targeted Donald Trump to the unchallenged lies told by Kamala Harris throughout, the debate hosted by ABC News was frustrating to watch. In this episode of The Weekend Spectator, Paul Kengor and Grace Reilly discuss which candidate was more successful in swaying undecided voters and whether the debate will impact the election more broadly.
Breitbart reported that Kamala Harris told 21 uncontested lies on the debate stage, countering CNN’s bogus claim that she only told one.
Shining a light on the mainstream media bias, the conservative advocacy group Restoration of America released a video on the term “misinformation,” calling it out as political propaganda. As seen in the debate, fact-checks happened when the biased moderators appointed themselves arbiters of truth.
Beyond the debate, the two candidates’ records speak loudly for themselves — showing Americans two very different directions the country could go in.
