Tallis firms as Kangaroos assistant coach after NRL rejection of cultural role

The NRL knocked back a request by Kevin Walters to appoint his former Broncos teammate as a “cultural attaché” for the Ashes tour – but Gorden Tallis is set to join the party as an assistant coach.
