Been doing it for years by all accounts. pics of him at parades from 2018 and 2019.

If you going to do this sort of nonsense (and I strongly recommend you don't) then don't pick the uniform of a Rear Admiral (there's only a few of them so you'll be an easy spot) and don't wear a combination of medals that in real life is almost impossible to earn and has rarely been awarded since 1979.
