Revenge for yesterday’s ticket prices and pints (4 replies)
I’m feeling very bitter this morning for obvious reasons and I have just found out that they were charging £3.80 a pint in the home end and we was paying £6 a pint in the away section on top of the scandalous ticket pricing!
Now looking at EFL rules around ticket pricing isn’t something I do every Sunday I thought I’d make this one an exception, and the rules state we have to charge away fans the same as home fans so on that basis we can’t screw them over without screwing our own over BUT I think I’ve found a loophole we can exploit.
Clubs are allowed to offer bundles for multiple games, we play saints 29th December & Coventry 4th January, so my suggestion would be to price saints at £20 & Cov at £80 but offer the two games as a bundle for £60 a saving of £40 for the home fans, saints fans get a cheap away day between Xmas and new year which I don’t begrudge them and maybe we can make it a reciprocal deal as we play them at the start of December, and the Coventry fans get the full £80 charge. I’m certain the tickets would sell out during the bundle window which would go on sale before the games went on sale individually so no loss to the clubs coffers either and if price a pint at £20 for the robbing bastards and id make this game a no concessions game!
Anyway onwards to Tuesday and hopefully the club are as petty as I am!
