With plans, shortlists and a decision moving ever closer - and news potentially coming in a matter of weeks rather than months - now’s a good time to think about what one bit of St Andrews you’d like to take to the new ground and what feature would you best like to see it’s the new place?
For me it would be almost unpolice-able position of the away end. There’s nothing quite like that feeling on a dark Saturday evening, all spilling out onto the Coventry Rd. Is a great example of the overall moodiness of St Andrews.
In terms of a feature I’d like to see, I would love us to have a large bank behind one goal, without a tier split. Spurs have done this well, copying Dortmund’s Yellow Wall.
Also - anyway of incorporating the city skyline would further cement our place as the city’s club.
