bluearmyfactionI'm guessing the finances are irrecoverable right now. Some players may still be on League 1 wages. Most NL clubs are fully pro but competing without any solidarity payment of any note. When e.g. Grimsby were down there, they were still getting decent crowds. It's going to need a massive push even to tread water.
From what I can tell they have barely any players left so I don't think the current players' contracts are an issue.
Biggest priority for them has to be paying monies owed to historic footballing creditors and HMRC. They will almost certainly put together some makeshift team that will get relegated to the Conf North this season but that scenario is still better than no club at all.
